What is Neo
Neo is Bitpulse's onchain credit-risk co-pilot for treasuries and allocators deploying capital into DeFi lending. You ask a risk question in plain language — about a pool, a counterparty, or your whole book — and Neo answers from Bitpulse's monitored on-chain risk data, with every answer traceable to a source.
These docs use vault and pool interchangeably for a lending position container. Each protocol names it differently (Maple "Pool", Morpho "Market" / "MetaMorpho Vault", AAVE "Reserve"). See the Glossary for full definitions.
The problem it solves
Teams allocating into DeFi lending face three structural gaps:
- Fragmented data — risk signals are scattered across explorers, protocol dashboards, and off-chain tools with no unified view.
- Lagging signals — most dashboards show yesterday's state. DeFi risk moves in hours.
- Missing methodology — TVL and yield tell you what happened. They don't tell you how exposed you are to a bad outcome, or which position drives it.
Neo closes all three: a unified view, frequently refreshed on-chain snapshots, and a quantified, reproducible risk model behind every answer.
What Neo does
- Answers risk questions in plain language. "Stress test my Morpho position if ETH volatility spikes 10x." "How much headroom before liquidation?" "Which pool drives my book's tail risk?"
- Grounds every answer in monitored data. Neo does not free-associate. Answers are built from Bitpulse's on-chain risk data and the same risk engine that powers Ozone.
- Shows its work. Every figure traces to a source, and the underlying methodology is deterministic and reproducible.
Who it's for
Heads of risk, treasuries, and allocators who need decision support on DeFi lending exposure — not a dashboard to interpret on their own.
What Neo is not
- Not financial advice. Neo is decision support. It does not tell you what to buy or sell.
- Not a generic chatbot. It answers risk questions within its coverage and declines what it cannot ground in data.
- Not a trading signal. No price predictions, no alpha calls.
Coverage today
Neo answers across the lending venues Bitpulse monitors:
- Morpho — markets and vaults on Ethereum
- AAVE V3 — lending markets on Ethereum
- Maple Finance — institutional lending vaults
- Pendle — yield and maturity markets
Coverage expands as protocols are onboarded.
