What is Neo

Neo is Bitpulse's onchain credit-risk co-pilot for treasuries and allocators deploying capital into DeFi lending. You ask a risk question in plain language — about a pool, a counterparty, or your whole book — and Neo answers from Bitpulse's monitored on-chain risk data, with every answer traceable to a source.

Terminology — "vault" and "pool"

These docs use vault and pool interchangeably for a lending position container. Each protocol names it differently (Maple "Pool", Morpho "Market" / "MetaMorpho Vault", AAVE "Reserve"). See the Glossary for full definitions.

The problem it solves​

Teams allocating into DeFi lending face three structural gaps:

  1. Fragmented data — risk signals are scattered across explorers, protocol dashboards, and off-chain tools with no unified view.
  2. Lagging signals — most dashboards show yesterday's state. DeFi risk moves in hours.
  3. Missing methodology — TVL and yield tell you what happened. They don't tell you how exposed you are to a bad outcome, or which position drives it.

Neo closes all three: a unified view, frequently refreshed on-chain snapshots, and a quantified, reproducible risk model behind every answer.
